Nurse Practitioner
Kaitlin Smiley is a Family Nurse practitioner who joined Penfield Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2022. She previously served for 6 years as a Registered Nurse at University of Rochester Medical Center in the Thoracic, Colorectal, Plastic Surgery and Pulmonary Care Unit.
Kaitlin has cared for patients with a diverse range of medical and surgical diagnoses, demonstrating leadership in her role as charge nurse and primary preceptor for her unit. She believes that the best service is delivered when empathy is combined with expert knowledge, a strong skill set and current, evidence-based practice.
